Are you the next king or queen of crime? We want to know! Following the success of the 2019 competition, the International Agatha Christie Festival once again invites all young people living in Devon, aged between 8 and 18 years of age, to enter a competition to find the most promising young writers of a mystery short story.
There are two categories: 8-13 years old; and 14-18 years old.
The winner in each category will win an Apple iPad Mini™ and the winner and runner-up in the older category will also receive a copy of Howdunnit! A Masterclass in the Craft of Crime Writing, featuring advice from over 90 writers.
It is free and easy to enter:
1. Write a short story of up to 1,000 words involving a mystery of some kind.
2. Submit your story by email.
Full details are online at www.iacf-uk.org/home/iacf-2020-mystery-short-story-competition where you can also read the full terms and conditions.
