On Monday 4th March, our Year 11 ambassadors had a cake sale to raise money for the Ten Tors training programme. The funds raised will go towards the entry of the Ten Tors challenge and the purchase of equipment to support their training and provisions for the event.
The ambassadors had chosen to raise money for Ten Tors themselves as many of them are, have been, or will be on the team so understand what kind opportunity the training provides our students .
Over the weekend they baked producing a variety of cakes ready to sell. They then spent Monday break stood in the pouring rain and freezing wind and managed to raise just over £80 which will support the team in the up and coming events. There are more exciting events coming. Watch this space!
