The Accelerated Reader programme, in conjunction with the Library and wider school, is designed to foster a love of reading and success is achievable for all taking part. Students choose books from their individual reading range, read them thoroughly and then take a fun quiz to check their level of comprehension. Once they have passed the quiz, their word count increases. As a school, our current word count is a staggering 102,340,806 words read since September 2020; we’re so proud of the resilience and effort demonstrated by our students.
