We were thrilled to welcome Dr Martijn van der Spoel to work with Year 11 and some Year 10 students, staff and parents on Wednesday 8th January.
Dr van der Spoel is a psychologist who works all over England as well as Holland, Spain and Germany. He specialises in understanding how the brain works and can be best utilised to learn independently. He focuses on motivation, how to learn effectively and revision skills. Students, staff and parents benefited from, and enjoyed his engaging style and stories, the games he used and learning about how and why we can utilize our brains to better effect!
