On Tuesday, we held a Post-16 taster day for Year 11, giving students a valuable opportunity to experience a range of courses in preparation for their Next Steps.
Students selected their own timetables for the day, based on their interests moving forward and there were lots to choose from at both Level 2 and 3.
As well as taster lessons, there was also an apprenticeship talk for students wishing to pursue this educational route. Students were able to study independently in the Sixth Form Centre and attend practical lessons for those looking at vocational and sporting routes.
We hope the day helped them in making the right decision as to where and what subjects they wish to study post-16.
Next week all students will have a post-16 interview and the deadline to apply for the Sixth Form is the first week in February.
