The NSPCC has created a new webpage with information and advice for parents or carers. Whether you’re working from home with your kids for the first time or supporting children with anxiety due to coronavirus, they’ve got tips and advice for you.
The webpage includes information on: talking about feelings and worries; keeping in touch and balancing screen time; ways to create structure and routine; and helping to give children a sense of control.
There is also advice on helping you to decide if your child is ready to be left alone and tips on keeping them safe when you aren’t there, plus spotting the signs of abuse during the pandemic and steps you can take if you’re worried about a child.
