YEAR 10 MOCK INTERVIEWS 2021
This week our Year 10 students were given the opportunity to experience what life may be like once they leave school, by attending a mock interview hosted by representatives from various businesses and further & higher education institutions.
210 students each received a 15 minute virtual interview where they were asked questions and given feedback on their interview technique, CV and body language.
Feedback from the three days was positive from students and interviewers alike, with many of our young people pleased with how their interview went.
We are really proud of how seriously the Year 10s took the day, especially with the interviews having to held virtually this year. They all did really well, with Mrs Hussain, Careers Leader at TCS saying “Despite the change in format, our students adjusted well to the online interviews and communicated well with interviewers. This practice experience is very valuable and will enable our students to approach future college and job interviews with confidence”
