We are delighted to announce that award-winning writer and documentary-maker, Matt Dickinson will be visiting our school on 24 April to talk to students in year 7, 8 and 9. During his filmmaking career he has worked as a director/cameraman for National Geographic television, the Discovery Channel, the BBC and Channel 4. His film projects have taken him to Antarctica, Africa and the Himalayas, often in the company of the world’s leading climbers and expeditioners, giving him a wealth of fascinating real-life adventures to talk about. Matt has written true stories of his experiences as well as exciting fiction thrillers for young adults.
Parents of students in year 7, 8 and 9 wishing to purchase a copy of one of his books for signing should complete the order form and return it to library@teignmouthschool.co.uk no later than Tuesday 1st April.
