A massive well done to our Year 10 student, Emily, who has passed her Black Belt 1st Degree in Kickboxing! During the half term, Emily travelled to Bristol to attend the Professional Unification of Martial Arts (P.U.M.A) Black Belt Awards ceremony where Emily was awarded her belt.
Emily has worked extremely hard to achieve this belt, for the grading itself not only did she have to spar against other students in her group and have a theory test she also had to undertake a gruelling 40-minute spirit test where you are pushed to your limit.
Emily has been kickboxing for 6 years and trains with Newton Abbot Martial Arts (NAMA).
