Congratulations to Jack Willis in Year 9 who has achieved some considerable sporting success over the summer
At the start of August, Jack swam in the Swim England National Open Water Championships in Sheffield and raced over 2k against the best Open Water swimmers in the country. After an amazingly tough swim, Jack finished 4th, missing out on bronze by 0.13 seconds!
Later in August, Jack competed in the British Surf Lifesaving Championships in Bournemouth alongside several other TCS students. Jack won two golds and two silvers, becoming British Champion in both the swim race and the Ironman.
Earlier this month, the Devon Open Water Championships were held at Teignmouth beach where Jack won gold in the boys 16&under.
Well done Jack, we are very proud!
