The annual trip to Westpoint for the UCAS Convention took place last week for our Year 12 students where they gathered inspiration for their next steps into their Post 18 options. Students immersed themselves in the convention engaging in conversations with exhibitors from Universities, Colleges, Armed Forces, Employers and Apprenticeships asking questions about courses, access to apprenticeships and gaining knowledge about higher education and what it has to offer. The trip was thought provoking and helped develop aspirations for students’ futures. It provided students with an awareness to what is available to them after their studies in sixth form as well as providing them with information to make informed decisions about their futures.
