Congratulations to our Year 8 girls football team who won the South Devon 7-a-side football tournament on Tuesday 3rd December.
The team played extremely well and secured victory courtesy of winning 3 and drawing 1 of their 4 games. All players were a credit to the school and themselves and now go on to represent South Devon in the regional finals after Christmas.
Player of the tournament was Caitlyn Eaves who defended outstandingly well in all matches which allowed Ella Stephens, Mia Davenport and Freya Western to launch attacks and score plenty of goals. Eliza Bryant-Rowe was extremely solid in goal and was ably assisted by Nina Smith, Jess Andrews & Nancy Doyle.
