We are very sad to report the death of a much loved and valued member of our community. Geoff was a teacher, leader, mentor, rugby coach, Ten Tors Manager, and many more things besides for over 30 years at TCS Exeter Road. He gave a huge amount to generations of young people who have been through our school or played rugby in our community.
Geoff was struck down by the horribly cruel Motor Neurone Disease last year as he retired. He will be very much missed but remembered with huge affection and love by our community.

Below is a message from his family:
We, as a family, would like to let you all know that Geoff Warne sadly passed away after battling with Motor Neurone Disease. He died peacefully on Tuesday 27th October surrounded by all of his family. Due to the current COVID situation, we will be having a close family ceremony on Monday 9th November to say our goodbyes.
If you would like to pay your respects to Geoff, we will be crossing Shaldon Bridge at 4pm on the 9th November. It would mean a lot to us if as many of you as possible could line the bridge on both sides. There will be limited parking at Teignmouth Rugby Club for those who need it.
It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible as we know he has touched so many lives
Love from all of his family xx
