Football Marathon

On Monday 26^th June 2023 over 180 students took part in the annual Football Marathon.  The event is an all day world cup style tournament which is ran and officiated by our TCS6 sports students.  Interspersed throughout the day is an individual penalty shootout and crossbar challenge. The winners of the penalty shootout were:

Year 7 – Ellen P,

Year 8 – Ben G,

Year 9 – Oliver R

Year 10 – Noah H.

The crossbar challenge winners were Harry B and Dillon H.

The Year 7/8 world cup competition was won by the Wales team who had not lost a game all day and the Year 9/10 winners were Brazil who also did not lose all day.

The effort and attitude of the students throughout the day was very good and it was great to see the high quality of the football on display. Well done, everyone!
