Earlier this month our Year 10 Art and Photography groups visited the Eden project where they had the opportunity to explore and collect imagery for their forthcoming projects. Students were introduced to the history of the Eden project and the tasked with exploring the biomes in small groups taking photographs and drawing from observation. A great day was had by all and excellent behaviour from the Year 10 students was recognised by both staff at Eden and the coach company.
Toby Templeman, a previous student at TCS6 came back to work with the Year 12 students to develop their skills in portraiture. Toby showed them how to draw in proportion using various methods and the explored the use of water colour. During his visit Toby showed them his portfolio and spoke of his experience on the foundation course. A great experience for all involved.
Well done to Adam B and Hattie L for the brilliant photos below!
