Last week, Year 8 and 9 were treated to a fabulous performance by Luke Mcauley focusing on mental health, social media and bullying. A whopping 80% of Year 9 students surveyed stated that they would change their online behavior as a result of the perfomance’ Some of our students said…
“It (the performance) made me realize how social media can affect mental health”
“If you are being bullied online, you need to block them and speak to a trusted adult”
“It can really help to do sport, socialize with friends and spend time with your family”
Well done to Year 8 and 9 for joining in and engaging with the workshop, you showed the Best version of yourselves!
